Scribe dies of stroke

K.V. Ramana (44), a senior journalist and Assistant editor, DNA daily, breathed his last in the early hours on Friday. He is survived by wife, eight-year-old son and parents. Ramana was admitted to the hospital on May 21 after he suffered a stroke. He went into coma and was kept on ventilation ever since. In a career spanning over two decades, Ramana worked with leading dailies and made a mark for himself in coverage of business-related developments.

Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy expressed his anguish and concern over the sudden demise of Ramana who, he said, was a dynamic journalist. He expressed concern that the senior journalist died at a young age and conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
