South Central Railways (SCR) will run eight special trains (four trips in each direction) between Secunderabad and Guwahati to clear the extra rush of passengers. The details are as follows: Train No. 07149 Secunderabad-Guwahati special train will run on Fridays starting from July 26), August 2, 9 and 16. The train will depart Secunderabad at 7.30 a.m. or Fridays and reach Guwahati at 7.55 a.m. on Saturdays. It will arrive and depart Vijayawada at 1.05 p.m. and 1.20 p.m. enroute
In the return direction, Train No. 07150 Guwahati-Secunderabad Special Train will run on Mondays, starting from the July 29, August 5, 12 and 19. The train will depart Guwahati on Mondays at 6 a.m. and reach Secunderabad at 9.15 a.m. on Wednesdays. It will arrive and depart Vijayawada at 1.15 p.m. and 1.35 p.m. enroute.
Enroute, the special trains will halt at Jangaon, Kazipet, Warangal, Mahabubabad, KHammam, Vijayawada, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Anakapalli, Duvvada, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Palasa, Barhampur, Khurda Road, Bhubneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Balasore, Kharagpur, Howrah, Bolpur, Rampurhat, Malda, Barsol, Kishanganj, New Jalpaiguri, Dhupouri, New Coochbehar, New Alipurduar, Kokrajhar, New Bongaigoan, Goalpara Town and Kamakhya stations in both the directions.
