VIJAYAWADA: To clear extra rush of passengers, South Central Railway is operating special trains between several towns and cities.

The special trains are: Train No.0748B Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam special train will leave Secunderabad on January 8, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 at 11 p.m. It will reach Vijayawada station at 5.30 a.m. the next day for a 20-minute halt and it will reach Visakhapatnam at 12.15 p.m.

Train No.0747B Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad special train will leave Visakhapatnam on January 9, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 at 7.10 p.m. and reach Vijayawada at 2 a.m. the next day for a 20-minute halt. The train will reach Secunderabad at 8.15 a.m. Enroute, the special will stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Madhira,Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Annavaram, Tuni, Anakapalli and Duvvada stations in both the directions.

Train No. 0748 Hyderabad – Vishakapatnam special train will leave Hyderabad on January 22, 23, 29 and 30 at 7.30 p.m. and will reach Secunderabad at 7.50 p.m. for a 10-minute halt. It will reach Vijayawada at 2 a.m. the next day for a 20-minute halt and train will reach Vishakapatnam at 8.30 a.m.

Train No. 0747 Vishakapatnam – Hyderabad Special train will leave Vishakapatnam on January 23, 24, 30 and 31 at 7.10 p.m. and reach Vijayawada at 2 a.m. the next day for a 20-minute halt.

The train will reach Secunderabad at 8.15 a.m. and Hyderabad at 8.50 a.m.Enroute, the Special will stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Madhira, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundary, Samalkot,Annavaram, Tuni, Anakapalli and Duvvada stations in both the directions.

Train No.0701 Secunderabad – Kakinada Town special train will leave Secunderabad on January 3, 8, 11, 14 and 15 at 10.30 p.m. and reach Vijayawada at 4.45 a.m. the next day for a 15-minute halt.

It will reach Kakinada Town at 8.50 a.m. Train No.0700 Kakinada Town – Secunderabad Special train will leave Kakinada on January 4, 9, 12, 15 and 16 at 9 p.m. and reach Vijayawada at 12.45 a.m. the next day for a 20-minute halt.

The train will reach Secunderabad at 8 a.m.

Enroute, the special will stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Madhira, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Nidadavolu, Rajahmundary Anaparti and Samalkot stations in both the directions.Train No.749 Machilipatnam – Secunderabad special train will reach Machilipatnam on January 3, 10, 17 and 24 at 8.30 p.m. and will reach Vijayawada at 10.40 p.m.

It will reach Secunderabad at 4.55 a.m. the next day. Train No.750 Secunderabad-Machilipatnam special train will leave Secunderabad on January 4, 11, 18 and 25 at 5.15 a.m. and will reach Vijayawada at 11.10 a.m. for a 20-minute halt.

It will reach Machilipatnam at 1.35 p.m. Enroute, the train will stop at Chilakalapudi, Pedana, Kavutaram, Gudlavalleru, Gudivada, Vijayawada, Khammam, Mahbubabad, Warangal, Kazipet stations in both the directions.

Train No.0756 Secunderabad-Narsapur special train will leave Secunderabad on January 10, 12, 13 and 17 at 11.30 p.m. and will reach Vijayawada at 05.30 a.m. the next day for a 20-minute halt. It will reach Narsapur at 10.30 a.m.

Train No.0755 Narsapur-Secunderabad special train will leave Narsapur on January 11, 13, 14 and 18 at 8.45 p.m. and reach Vijayawada at 01.15 a.m. the next day.

It will reach Secunderabad at 8.20 a.m. Enroute, the Special will stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Madhira, Vijayawada, Gudivada, Kaikalur, Akividu, Bhimavaram Town, Bhimavaram Junction., Veeravasaram and Palakollu stations in both the directions.

Extension of special trains

Train No. 0865 Visakhapatnam-Nizamabad special will be operated on January 5, 12, 19 and 26 and on February 2, 9, 16 and 23. Train No.0866 Nizamabad-Visakhapatnam special will be operated on January 6, 13, 20 and 27 and on February 3, 10, 17 and 24.

Train No.0871 Bhubaneswar-Tirupati special will be operated on January 1, 8 and 15.

Train No.0872 Tirupati-Bhubaneswar special will be operated on January 2, 9 and 16, according to a railway press release.
