Faces shortage of staff owing to the ban on recruitment

Kakinada: The elementary school and the high school - both aided institutions, functioning in Santhi Ashram at Sarabhavaram in sub plan area of Sankhavaram Mandal, are facing shortage of staff owing to the ban on recruitment, according to Vinjamuri Radhakrishna Correspondent of High School.

At a press conference here on Thursday, he said, as against five teachers sanctioned only three were working in elementary school as the two posts, which fell vacant due to retirement of teachers, could not be filled up.

Similar is the case with the High School, which is now running without the Headmaster.

He said the post is now headed temporarily by a senior teacher after retirement of the Head Master .

The government did not accord permission to fill up the posts making it difficult to the management to run the school.

Mr. Radhakrishna regretted that the government did not agree even to allot a teacher selected in the DSC. All their attempts to fill up the post by rationalisation of teachers also proved futile.
