The Visakhapatnam-Tata weekly express will be run from January 5 and the Visakhapatnam-Kollam weekly express from January 30.

The two trains, announced in the Railway Budget are being introduced as permanent trains in January.

The train No. 18516 Visakhapatnam-Tata weekly express via  Vizianagaram, Srikakulam, Palasa, Brahmapur, Bhubaneswar and Kendujhargarh will leave here at 5.45 p.m. on every Sunday from January 5 and reach Tata at 10.45 a.m. on every Monday. Train No. 18515 Tata-Visakhapatnam weekly express will leave Tata at 1 p.m. on every Monday and will arrive here at 4.40 a.m. on every Tuesday.

This train will have one AC-II tier, two AC-II tier, nine sleeper class, six general second class and two second class sitting-cum-luggage vans and it will stop at Simhachalam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam, Palasa, Sompeta, Ichhapuram, Brahmapur, Chhatrapur, Balugaon, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Mancheswar, Cuttack, Jakhapura, Sukinda Road, Harichandanpur, Kendujhargarh, Nayagarh, Bangiriposi, Dongaposi, Chaibasa and Rajkharaswan.

Train No. 18567 Visakhapatnam-Kollam weekly express runs via Vijayawada, Gudur, Ernakulam Town and Kottayam. It leaves here at 9 a.m. on every Thursday and reaches Kollam at 2.10 p.m. on every Friday. The train No. 18568 Kollam-Visakhapatnam express leaves Kollam at 9 p.m. on every Friday and arrives here at 1.35 a.m on every Sunday (midnight of Saturday).

The train will have one AC-II tier, three AC-III tier, nine sleeper class, six general second class and two second class sitting-cum-luggage vans. It will stop en route at Duvvada, Elamanchili, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijaywada, Tenali, Bapatla, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jollarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbator, Palakkad, Thrisur, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Chengannur and Kayanakulam.
