Hannah Rachel Mani, Deputy General Manager (B & O), State Bank of India Administrative Office, Vijayawada, has said that the bank is going to open seven more branches in East Godavari this year.

Speaking to mediapersons after inaugurating 13th branch in Rajahmundry on Saturday, she said that they were having 103 branches in the district along with three regional offices in Kakinada, Rajahmundry and recently in Amalapuram.

‘Long-felt need’

She said that there was a long felt need for new branch in Alcott gardens where they opened a branch and appealed to customers to utilize bank services.

Ms. Mani distributed five fans, books and stationery to Srinivasa Ramanujam Municipal High School students in Alcott gardens on the occasion.
