It was a memorable day for the students of the Government Zilla Parishad school here as the SBI donated water purifier as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, SBI Collectorate Branch Manager V. Ram Babu gave valuable tips on career planning and goal setting. School Headmaster and Mandal Education Officer G. Veeraswamy said water covered over 70 per cent of the earth’s surface. So was the case with human body. The water level had to be carefully nurtured in both the cases, he added.

The SBI's Anjaiah Road branch led by its manager K. Balkrishnamurthy donated a water purifier to a state-run school at Aluru in the mandal in the presence of its headmaster M. Prasad Rao.
