The State Bank of Hyderabad has adopted a cluster approach as a strategy to improve credit flow to the small and medium enterprises sector through industrial and artisan clusters.

The approach formed part of wide array of products and services that had been developed to cater to the evolving needs of the SME sector, SBH chief general manager (CB and MCG) Jyoti Ghosh said.

Speaking at a financial literacy workshop organised by the bank in association with Dun & Bradstreet India here on Saturday, Mr. Ghosh said the bank had already declared the current financial year as the year of the MSME sector and had been working for strengthening the hands of MSME entrepreneurs.

The workshop was attended by representatives of 40 MSMEs.
