The APNGOs Association are gearing up for the ‘Save Andhra Pradesh’ meeting at STBC ground here on Sunday. The organisers are expecting over 50,000 people to attend the meeting and listen to Samaikyandhra leader P. Ashok Babu, and others.

Organisations which have been agitating since the past several days celebrated the 60th day of their protest here on Saturday by forming a human chain depicting the number ‘60’ at Raj Vihar centre.

The students of Rayalaseema University staged a mock examination on the road as part of the protest. Principal N.T.K. Naik and Dean Punyaseshudu expressed solidarity with the students’ agitation.

Teachers and staff of residential schools protested by selling “bhajji” and other eatables at the Collectorate.
