The government has to take steps so that everyone has access to all resources available in the nation to ensure there is no difference between a poor and rich family, Minister for Roads and Buildings Dharmana Prasada Rao has said.
Speaking at the inaugural of the two-day national-level technical, cultural, and sports festival ‘Saurus’ at Avanthi Institute of Engineering and Pharmaceutical sciences, Cherukupalli near Tagarapuvalasa, on Friday, he exhorted the youth to work hard to achieve greater heights.
Vice-Chancellor of Andhra University G.S.N. Raju, who was the guest of honour, told students that they must never forget the reason for which they had come to college.
He asked them to take part in sports and cultural activities along with their course work. He congratulated chairman of the college and Bheemli MLA Avanthi Srinivas Rao for establishing engineering colleges in rural areas with a vision to bring the rural youth into the engineering and technical field.
A large number of students of different engineering colleges participated in the festival and showcased their working models.
