The official leaves for Delhi to take over as Navy Vice Chief

VISAKHAPATNAM: His aim of making the Eastern Naval Command a fighting fit, spirited and happy one has been achieved in his one-year term as Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Eastern Naval Command, said Raman Prem Suthan while addressing a parade held to bid farewell to him at the Naval Base here on Tuesday.

Vice-Admiral Suthan has been transferred to New Delhi as Vice Chief of Naval staff. He left for New Delhi after receiving the farewell parade and the ceremonial pull-out by officers and sailors, who lined up along the road from the ENC Headquarters building to the main gate of INS Circars.

He inspected the parade consisting of 24 platoons representing different ships and establishments. The parade was commanded by Commanding Officer of INS Karwar Parambir Singh.
