VISAKHAPATNAM: The sales of novel ‘Druapadi’ penned by chairman of AP Hindi Academy, Yarlagada Lakshmi Prasad, had gone up and the demand was such that Visalaandhra Book Shop is not in a position to meet it, thanks to the controversy over the award of Kendra Sahitya Academy for the book this year. Word was sent to Hyderabad to rush additional copies. “It is selling like hot cakes and other book depots are asking us for copies,” said manager of Visalaandra Book Shop, Narayana.
