In-charge District Collector K. Nirmala directed officials on Wednesday to conduct rythu sadassus from May 9 to 13 in a foolproof manner.
Addressing a meeting with officials of the agriculture and other allied departments in her camp office, Ms. Nirmala wanted rythu sadassus to be conducted in Kadapa, Rajampet and Jammalamadugu by ensuring the participation of about 4,000 farmers in each sadassu. Agriculture scientists should enlighten farmers on new mechanised farm tools besides conducting cultural shows, she said. A photo exhibition should be arranged besides exhibiting machinery with new technology.
