VIZIANAGARAM: Chief Minister K. Rosaiah is scheduled to tour the district on December 12.

He would participate in a number of programmes at various places.

He would perform ‘bhoomi puja’ at the Growth Centre in Bobbili for the proposed ferro alloys unit that is being set up jointly by Visakhapatnam Steel Plant and Manganese Ore India Limited at an estimated cost of Rs. 200 crores, inaugurate residential complex built under Rajiv Gruha Kalpa at Kondakarakam, unveil the statue of Jawaharlal Nehru, inaugurate women’s hostel building and also interact with students of JNTU College of Engineering on the college premises and lay the foundation stone for the Congress party office at Thotapalem in the town on that day.

Collector G. Ram Narayana Reddy is supervising the arrangements.

Helipads are being arranged at the Growth Centre and at JNTU College campus.

Srikakulam: Mr. Rosaiah will also visit Srikakulam district on December 12 and 13.

According to the tentative programme, the Chief Minister will arrive on December 12 evening and make a night halt.

He will tour Palakonda, Etcherla and Srikakulam town and participate in locally arranged programmes, according to a message received at the Collector’s office here on Wednesday.
