A notorious criminal, Kantam Narsimulu (28), of Nainonipally village in Hanwada Mandal, who was involved in robbing women of their ornaments by inflicting injuries on them, was caught by the Inspector of Rural Police Station and his staff in Mahabubnagar on Wednesday. The police recovered one gold ‘pusthela thadu' of 25grams, one pair silver anklets of 40 tolas, and one pair silver leg chains of 10 tolas.
Narsimulu was involved in several crimes under Hanwada police station.
Speaking to press persons, SP G. Sudheer Babu informed that the accused was found moving under suspicious circumstances at Pan Chowrasta in Mahabubnagar for disposal of the stolen property. The police caught Narsimulu and on thorough interrogation, the accused confessed to have committed the offences in various cases.
