Road Safety Week from Jan. 18

A road safety week will be organised by the City Police from January 18 to 25.

The campaign, christened ‘Arrive Alive’, is being conducted with the objective of making road users proactive to the changing perspectives of traffic safety, according to Police Commissioner B. Shivadhar Reddy.

Improving safety on the roads is a tremendous challenge faced by local transportation agencies.

Not only has transportation technology undergone many changes but also the uses of many existing roads have changed with the aging transportation system.
