The TTD management has decided to bring in certain modifications with regard to the issuance of the Rs.300- Pratyeka Pravesa Darshan tickets on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
According to the new decision, the quick darshan tickets will be issued only till 2 p.m. these two days against the normal practice of issuing them till 6 p.m.
Talking to mediapersons after holding a meeting with the senior officials of various departments, the TTD Executive Officer I.Y.R. Krishna Rao said the management made the ‘Laghu' darshan system mandatory on these two days to provide hassle free darshan of the presiding deity and bring in a kind of ‘uniformity' in the flow of the pilgrims all through the week.
But the overwhelming response which the management has received from the devotees on these two days rather forced it to re-think its earlier decision. The new restrictions will enable the temple management to allocate more darshan hours for the common pilgrims.
