Several Presidents of the US have visited India and they have been given utmost respect.The local media has always gone overboard in covering their visits. When the late Sarvepalli Radha Krishnan, the then President of India, visited US, not a single newspaper there carried the news of his visit. When the issue was commented upon, we were told that Mr. Radhakrishnan was on a private visit.

Ban cow slaughter
In a village economy, agriculture is linked with cattle breeding, both for milk and milk-allied products and meat industry.
Animal meat is considered nutritious in states like Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala and unfortunately, the Andhra Pradesh government has also, without much thought, has allowed animal slaughter which directly affects cattle-breeding industry.
