Rise in air pollution

The escalating vehicular traffic in the twin cities is causing immense air pollution. Even RTC buses and autos emit do not seem to undertake pollution checks. As a result citizens are subject to adverse health conditions such as lung problems. On bringing this notice to the PCB, officials at the Board informed that this was under the jurisdiction of RTA officials. I request concerned authorities to employ preventive measures for reducing the air pollution. Krishna Palesh

Schools near garbage dumps

The prevailing condition of the Hyderguda Society Residents is pitiable to say the least and the situation is only becoming bad to worse. There is no proper garbage facility and schools, hotels, stores and buildings are located in the vicinity of garbage dumps. The foul smell emitting from the garbage is also making people breathless. I urge authorities to look into the matter with immediate effect.
