Aim is to provide employment to jobless youth, says Collector
Collector Budha Prakash Jyothi on Saturday said mega camps would be organised across the district to promote and popularise Rajiv Yuva Kiranalu programme.
He said since the objective of the scheme was to provide employment to the jobless youth, young people were imparted training in various skills to make them employable.
Mr. Budha Prakash Jyothi said to enable the unemployed youth make the best of the opportunity, the district administration had chalked out an elaborate plan for conduct of mega camps in various mandals across the district from October 16 to November 8. He said job aspirants from Nandigama, Chandarlapadu, Kanchikacharla and Veerulapadu mandals must visit the camp at Nandigama market yard on October 16. Similarly, job-seeking youth of Vuyyuru, Pamaru, Kankipadu, Unguturu, Vijayawada rural, Thotlavalluru, Penamaluru and Pamidimukkala mandals should visit the camp at Vuyyuru market yard on October 18.
Their counterparts from Gudivada, Pedaparupudi and Nandiwada mandals must gather at NTR stadium in Gudivada on October 19. Youth of Thiruvuru, Vissannapet, Reddygudem, Chatrai and Gampalagudem mandals must visit the camp at Thiruvuru market yard on October 20. For the youth of Jaggayyapet, Vatsavayi and Penuganchiprolu mandals, the camp would be organized at Jaggayyapet market yard on October 30 and job aspirants of Bantumilli, Kruthivenu, Pedana and Gudlavalleru mandals must visit Pedana market yard on October 31.
For the youth of Nuzveedu, Bapulapadu, Gannavaram and Musunuru mandals, the camp would be organized at Nuzveedu municipal office on November 2. Similarly, youth seeking job opportunities under the scheme from Mylavaram, A. Konduru, G. Konduru and Ibrahimpatnam mandals should visit the camp at Mylavaram market yard on November 3.
Government Junior College at Mudinepalli will be the venue of the camp for the youth of Mudinepalli, Mandavalli, Kalidindi and Kaikaluru mandals on November 6. The scheme beneficiaries from Avanigadda, Koduru, Nagayalanka and Mopidevi mandals should visit Avanigadda Government Degree College on November 7 while their counterparts from Machilipatnam, Guduru, Challapalli and Movva mandals may attend the camp at Machilipatnam market yard on November 8.
