SANGAREDDY: Scores of trade union activists of different organisations held a dharna at the collectorate on Friday accusing the governments of pursuing anti-labour policies.

Addressing the gathering, CITU district general secretary A. Manikyam, BMS district president Ravindra Varma, AITUC district general secretary Eswar Prasad and TNTUC secretary N. Bhiskapati said that both, the State and Central governments, had failed to control the price rise. They also alleged that the government was trying to enforce 12-hour working system for the labour.

Later, they submitted a memorandum to the DRO.
