The Deputy Inspector General (DIG), Prisons, Telangana region, M. Chandrashekhar is reported to have enquired about the quality of medical check up and treatment being given to Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi at the District Jail, Adilabad. The inquiry came after complaints came to his notice last week, according to sources.
A team of doctors from RIMS, Adilabad, collected blood samples of Mr. Owaisi on Saturday. Meanwhile, the MLA reportedly complained of pain in the ear and lower abdomen on Saturday morning. The medical team said that his health condition was stable.
