“The sacred ‘water’ fetched from Triveni Sangam will be combined with those in the temple pushkarini”

Winding up its forty-day spiritual sojourn to the Maha Kumbhmela at Allahabad, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam’s (TTD) ‘Sri Vari Prachara Ratham’ will be back at the hill shrine on March 4.

Disclosing this to the media persons, the TTD’s Executive Officer L.V. Subramanyam on Friday said that it was a great experience for him and the 380 odd employees who took part in the Kumbhmela.

While the statistics revealed that over 2.5 lakh devotees had visited the makeshift temple of Lord Venkateswara at Allahabad and the temple hundi received over Rs. 10 lakh in the form of proceeds, the management on its part had carried out ‘Srinivasa Kalyanam’ programmes for over ten times and conducted ‘Snapana Thirumanjanam’ thrice as part of promoting the ‘Srinivasa Vaibhavam’ during the mela epoch.

Dwelling further, he said that a ‘Shobha Yatra’ will be conducted atop the temple town soon after the return of the ‘Prachara Ratham’ from Allahabad and the sacred ‘water’ fetched from the Triveni Sangam will be ceremoniously combined with those in the temple pushkarini. Meanwhile, the management was also contemplating on conducting a week-long summer training classes to the tenth class pass outs and junior intermediate students.
