The industrial sector (small-scale industries) in Andhra Pradesh is collapsing due to lack of support from the Sate Government, said YSR Congress Party leader Y.S. Sharmila on Wednesday.
As part of her Maro Praja Prasthanam she interacted with people from various walks of life during her walkathon, which continued from Machilipatnam town. Addressing a large gathering at several rural pockets in Krishna district, Ms. Sharmila said that lack of proper action plan for power supply in industries sector would directly affect small-scale industries across the State.
There was no exception for the industries in Krishna district in this regard, she said. Largely accompanied by women folk, she interacted with weavers and farmers in Pedana and surrounding villages about their problems and livelihood options.
“The YSRCP has integrated action plan to promise better living condition by implementing welfare schemes if people voted YS Jagan to power in coming elections,” she said.
Ms. Sharmila would start her walkathon from Nidupuru in Pedana mandal on Thursday.
