Power generation was stopped in the first and second units of Rayalaseema Thermal Power Plant at Kalamalla in Kadapa district for a brief period of three hours on Wednesday, due to stoppage of coal supply to the units due to burning of motors owing to low voltage. The motors were burnt around 8.35 a.m. but power generation was restored around 11.30 a.m. after undertaking repairs under the supervision of RTPP Superintending Engineer Kumar Babu and others. -Special Correspondent
