RTC driver sustains head injury

NALGONDA: Glass panes of as many as 40 RTC buses and many private vehicles got damaged due to the officials' alleged negligence in following norms in road repair works at Anneparthy on Narketpally-Addanki highway.

A driver of Miryalaguda-Hyderbad service, Linga Naik, sustained head injury when a stone hit him after damaging the front glass panes. "The chips that were laid on road are not fixed to the tar. They are hitting the glass with a heavy force," he said. Doctors put three sutures on his head.

RTC regional manager A. Sadasiva Rao said that the route is posing serious threat to buses and commuters.
