Inquires about clash

Sangareddy Staff Reporter writes: Avinash Mohanty took charge as the Superintendent of Police at Sangareddy on Monday. He has replaced P.J. Victor, who was shifted to Hyderabad in the backdrop of communal clashes that took place at Sangareddy last month.

Soon after taking charge, Mr. Avinash held a meeting with Mr. Victor and reportedly inquired about the incidents that took place in the town and the prevailing situation.

Later he has held a meeting with the officials.

“Every one should fee the responsibility. I will stand behind you if your attitude is right. But you have to pay hugely if your attitude is wrong and no one can save you. Do not try to be smart and do not read between the lines,” he has reportedly told the senior officials in the meeting.
