The Potential-linked Credit Plan for 2012-13 o 2016-17 was launched by district Collector V.Seshadri on Thursday.

The total credit potential for 2013-14 under priority sector for the district is estimated at Rs.6,119 crore, with a growth rate of 22 per cent over projection and 45 per cent over the annual credit plan (ACP) for 2012-13, according to assistant general manager K.V.S.S.L.V. Prasada Rao. PLP, prepared by NABARD, is the basis for ACP of banks and government departments factor in infrastructural gaps brought out in PLPs in finalising budgets.
