The First Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate N. Amaravati here on Saturday dismissed the petition filed by the prosecution to give it ten days time to produce the AIMIM floor leader in the Assembly Akbaruddin Owaisi in the court citing law and order reasons. The court, however, granted five days time and asked the police and the prosecution lawyer to produce Mr. Owaisi on or before January 24 in connection with his alleged inflammatory speech made under the Two Town police station limits on December 8 night.

Earlier, the advocates Balraj and Akbar Hussain appeared on behalf of Mr. Owaisi pleaded the court to direct the police to file the chargesheet at the earliest.
