The Public Interest Litigation filed seeking orders to halt the proposed ‘Sadak Bandh’ (closure of roads) on the Bengaluru highway on Sunday will be heard on Friday. It is listed before a Bench.
The petition was filed by D. Srinvasulu of Kurnool district. His counsel contended that there is an urgency as the lifeline to many districts of AP, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu is likely to be closed upon a call given by the Telangana JAC, TRS and BJP.
The Bench comprising Chief Justice P.C. Ghose and Justice Vilas Afzulpurkar said that the case will be heard on Friday.
