A two-day photography exhibition, first of its kind in Prakasam district, will be held here from Sunday to highlight the latest advances in the photography industry.
More than 5,000 lensmen, including photo-journalists, would take part in the expo as leading multi-national corporations (MNCs) would put up 50 stalls to display latest products in the photography industry, Prakasam District Photographers and Videographers Welfare Association president K.Venkat Rao told reporters here on Saturday.
Lensmen could vie with one another other to exhibit their talents during a fashion show. Best pictures taken by lensmen on the occasion would be awarded prizes, association secretary G. Satyanarayana said. The event would begin with a motorcycle rally by over 500 photographers, association treasurer Y.Ajay Kumar said.
A photography workshop would be held for photographers to get to know of the latest in the field, including lighting for indoor and outdoor conditions, said association city president Hamanth Kumar.
Videographers would be introduced to high-definition television (HDTV) which provided a resolution substantially higher than that of standard-definition television, association city secretary Srinivasa Rao said.
