The TVS Motor Company launched its ‘premium executive deluxe 125 cc motorcycle - TVS Phoenix 125 here on Wednesday. Kusalava Motors Managing Director Chukkapalli Venkateswara Rao launched the motorbike at a function held in Taj Gateway.
Company area manager Sitarama Shastry said Phoenix 125 was the first 125 cc motorcycle two-wheeler launched by TVS Motor Company. He said the bike had several premium car-like features. The special features are fully digital speedometer with digital fuel gauge, low battery reminder, trip meter, service reminder, soft textured grips, soft touch switchgear and hazard lamps to enhance added safety for the rider. The style features on the bike are aircraft inspired decals, rotopedal disc brakes, LED pilot lamps, all black engine, alloy wheels and switched dual texture high density comfort cushion seat with premium upholstery.
The engine of Phoenix 125 has the highest power to weight ratio in the segment. The bike was available in two versions – the Drum brake version which was priced at Rs.51,330 (ex-showroom in Vijayawada) and the disc brake versions priced at Rs.53,405.
