An advocate K. Karunasagar filed a petition in a local court here on Friday against the MIM floor leader, Akbaruddin Owaisi, for making an inflammatory speech at a meeting held at Nirmal in Adilabad district, hurting the sentiments of a particular religion.
In his petition, he requested the seventh additional chief metropolitan magistrate to take cognizance of his complaint and initiate necessary action against the legislator. The petitioner also submitted a CD containing the inflammatory speech made by Mr. Owaisi.
The petitioner accused the legislator of using derogatory words against the religion. He said he came to know about Mr. Owaisi’s speech while browsing Internet at his office in Saidabad. He saw a video on Youtube in which Mr. Owaisi used offensive words against the religion in Urdu.
