District Panchayat Officer P. Nagaraju said madal level awareness meets would help improve the sanitation. He urged the sarpanches to take up the responsibility of maintaining proper sanitation as it was they who get the funds. District Medical and Health Officer Y. Swaroop Kumar Reddy also spoke.
