KURNOOL: Bhuman, chairman of the Rayalaseema Development and Research Centre, asked the people of the region to be alert about the consequences of bifurcation of the State and irrigation rights to be delivered by Krishna Tribunal. Addressing the 30th anniversary of AP Employees' Coordination Committee here on Saturday, he said fast developments were taking place on the front of State bifurcation. Any complacency at this stage would cost the region dearly, he cautioned.
Also, the Krishna Tribunal was ready to deliver judgment on the Krishna water distribution. It was time to defend the rights of the region, he said.
MLA T.G. Venkatesh who attended the meeting said the SKU employees who were recruited recently were denied wages. The meeting was presided over by district president Madhava Swamy
