Senior party leader releases poster in connection with public meeting

  • `Party or individual cannot bring about change in society'
  • 100 youth to take out bicycle rally from Warangal

WARANGAL: Lok Satta senior leader Parcha Kodanda Rama Rao on Monday exhorted students, academics and intellectuals to make success the proposed public meeting on October 15 to be held at Hyderabad.

Mr. Rao who released the posters and other publicity material pertaining to the proposed public meeting of the newly launched party, urged people to strengthen the hands of Lok Satta which was striving to bring in an alternative political atmosphere in the State.

"A party or an individual cannot alone bring about a drastic change in society. A majority of people should take part in the development to bring about a radical change in the political field," he pointed out.

    Vote bank politics

All these years, political leaders and parties only treated people as their vote bank and never accorded them due respect. From time to time, they have come out with schemes and plans, only to perpetuate their control over the Government. They have only been coming out with strategies that help them secure power rather than really help change the lot of people in the country, Mr. Rama Rao remarked.

The Lok Satta leader said about 100 youth would take out a bicycle rally from Warangal on October 14 and reach Hyderabad the next day to take part in the public meeting.

Lok Satta office bearers V. Venumadhav Swamy, P. Madhusudan Rao, P. Rajender, Mounica, M. Rambabu and others were present.
