The concept and carryout the various categories of employees test by the TTD is so appreciative that no one had pointed out the performance and providing the basic amenities to the candidates who appeared for the exam.
The aspirants, who were present for the exam satisfied with the amenities, include accommodation, bus facilities provided by the TTD.
It is one of the major and essential steps in the present juncture taking into force and reviving the system of choosing the candidates only through merit of marks, which was dispensed the same system three decades back.
Any how the Chief Minister was also appreciable in this event by giving freedom to the TTD officials at the timely need in the absence of the board which gives a moment to the worthy and hard worked candidates.
B.V. Subrahmanya Sastry,
A confusion among officials of Sri Durga Malleswara Swami Varla Devasthanam prevailed following officials failure to classify, and define who were VIPs.
Though it is a welcome move, some VIPs were visibly perturbed over the development as there was no special treatment for them at the temple.
The common devotee is very happy as there were no shortcuts and special treatment to few rich and powerful. Notwithstanding the officials should have classified, and defined who the VIPs were. The temple already made it compulsory to the VIPs to purchase tickets.
Hence, it should have followed protocol to avoid criticism from MLCs and MLAs who have certain laid down privileges.
Tribals demand Manyaseema
Srikrishna Commission members countered with a new demand while touring in Bhadrachalam area recently. The tribals here demanded creation of Manyaseema. Airing their grievances, the tribals alleged that their economic uplift was ignored by successive governments. Creation of Manyaseema with tribals villages would alone ensure their social and economic development, they told the panel members. Probably, this would be a new element for panel members who were hearing about Samaikya Andhra and Telangana State all through these days. More than that ‘how do the Telangana and Samaikyavadins respond to the voice of tribals?' is a big a question.
