Disapproving the allegations of a section of political parties, including the TRS and Congress, that BJP raked up religious sentiment to win the recent by-election in Mahabubnagar Assembly segment, party State president and MLA G. Kishan Reddy said that Mahabubnagar voters have voted for the party with a firm belief that the party alone could carve out Telangana.

Kishan Reddy flagged off ‘Bharosa Yatra' undertaken by party's youth wing, Bharatiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha, here on Monday at Town Hall Grounds to discourage suicides by Telangana youth for the cause.

Addressing a huge gathering on the occasion, he said that the Congress TDP and TRS are degrading the verdict of Mahabubnagar voters by branding it as communal vote. Kishan Reddy also dismissed the allegations of some of parties that the recent communal riots in Sangareddy and old city were engineered by his party after Mahabubnagar by-election victory.

Appeal to Muslim community

He appealed to the Muslim community not to trust such false propaganda and added that it should think over what the community benefitted with the 65 years rule of Congress and TDP.
