Rajahmundry: All political parties, non-government organizations, advocates, doctors associations, managements of colleges, schools, Chamber of Commerce along with MLAs, MPs and MLCs formed Joint Action Committee (JAC) to conduct the agitation for united Andhra in Rajahmundry and also in other parts of East Godavari district on Wednesday. The JAC as its first step called upon people to observe total bandh on December 19. It announced there will be Rail roko on Thursday and Bus roko on Friday respectively to intensify their stir.

Senior advocate Madduri Siva Subba Rao has been elected convener of JAC and two important leaders from each political party and organization were selected as Joint Conveners of JAC. Prasadula Harinath, Jakkampudi Vijayalakshmi from Congress, Aakula Veerraju, Lt. Murthy Jasti from PRP, Ganni Krishna and Vasireddy Rambabu from TDP are members of main action committee. Another five members from each party are also part of the JAC, which finalizes future course of action.

Dr. Kante Veeranna Chowdary, Dr. Ganga Kishore along with Indian Medical Association President and secretary are representing doctors community. Ramaraju, Sunkara Ravi and Kanchi Madhusudhana Rao are from Narayana Junior College, Gowthami Smart school and Holly Angles respectively.
