The Osmania University Contract Teachers’ Association (OUCTA), who were on strike for the last four days, accused Vice-Chancellor S. Satyanarayana of ignoring their demands.

In a statement here, the lecturers reminded that their contribution was equally high in helping the university gain the status of ‘university with Potential for Excellence’ but their financial needs were not being taken care of.

The lecturers said they brought their issues to the notice of all the authorities, including the Chief Minister, but lack of support from the university had pained them.
