Municipal Commissioner B. Sridhar on Tuesday expressed dissatisfaction at the slow pace of work on projects intended to improve water supply to Gajuwaka. He visited the 10 mgd water treatment plant, filtration beds and pump house under construction at Sundarayya Colony. Executive Engineer Venugopal said three pumping mains were being constructed to pump water to nine reservoirs. Mr. Sridhar wanted work on the reservoir, pump house, sump house to keep pace with that of the filtration plant. Chief Engineer B. Jayarami Reddy and Superintendent Engineer C.G.K. Raju were present.
