The Anantapur District Officers Welfare Association and the Anantapur unit of Andhra Pradesh Gazetted Officers Association (APGOA) said that they would go on a mass casual leave on Monday. President of the Anantapur unit of APGOA, P. Thimmappa, said that they had decided in consultation with the ADOWA that all officers in the district would go on a mass casual leave to lend support to the call given by the APNGOs Association.

“We are organising relay hunger strike besides a protest rally in support of Samaikyandhra,” he said .
