HYDERABAD: The NTR Memorial Trust will soon put together objects that were used by the legend, including those that figured in his movies. The collection that will be housed in a new building behind the party headquarters, will include rare photos, said the trust's CEO P. Raghu Rama Rao.

At a press conference here on Thursday, Mr. Rao, film actor M. Murali Mohan and film writer Paruchuri Gopalakrishna announced the selection of five rare photographs out of a collection of slightly over 3,000 photographs that were received. They were screened by a three-member jury comprising Mr. Murali Mohan, Mr. Gopalakrishna and a film journalist Bhagheeradha. After short-listing 14 of them, the jury again finalised 5 of them. The persons who sent the five entries will be felicitated and given prizes on Ugadi by the Managing Trustee and TDP N. Chandrababu Naidu. They are K. Sravanthi (Tirupati), K. Narasimha Moorthy (Hosur), M.M. Govind (Jammalamadugu), P. Srinivasulu (Chittoor) and N. Venugopal Moorthy from Kurnool. The pictures include a rare one showing NTR in the garb of a woman, another one of NTR along with M.G. Ramachandran, Chevalier Sivaji Ganesan, Gemini Ganesan, and Hindi actor late Rajkumar.
