Internationally reputed unique trans-disciplinary education curriculums like Cambridge International and International Baccalaureate (IB) are coming to the doorsteps of Rajahmundry from this academic year.
Laurel High Global School has brought one of such International curriculum to the city from this year. On Sunday, the Laurel High Global School arranged a seminar on ‘Global Education trends’ in which the school management invited parents from all walks of life to enlighten them about the global education system.
The director of the school Sunkara Ravi Kumar spoke about his vision of bringing international standards in education to the doorstep of residents of Rajahmundry. The seminar was facilitated by G.V.S. Prasad, Executive Director and P.N. Prasad, Director, School Development Services of Centred for British Teachers (CfBT Trust, UK) India. CfBT Education Trust is one of the top 30 Charities of UK promoting education for public benefit worldwide.
In a lively interaction the participants were guided through the technological and lifestyle changes, prompting current global education trends; the State, National and International Curricula on offer; and a comparative analysis of the advantages of each of these curricula. The parents were then given in depth information on Cambridge International Primary Programme that is proposed to be offered by Laurel High Global School.
