Minister for Legislative Affairs Sailajanath said that there should not be any let up in the fight for united State.

Speaking to the media persons here on Sunday after offering prayers to Lord Venkateswara, Mr. Sailajanth said that he and his other Cabinet colleagues including Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy and PCC president B. Satyanarayana, were at all times immersed in the thought of keeping the State united.

Lambasting the Telangana leaders for trying to gain political mileage from separate statehood issue, he said the Seemandhra leaders never played with the sentiments of the people.

Attempting to downplay the open proclamations being made by other Congress leaders that separate State has already come into existence, he said that it only reflected their individual opinion.

Dwelling at length, he said that he would do justice to the new portfolio being allotted to him and said the choice of allocation of portfolios in a democratic setup was always vested in the Chief Minister.
