HYDERABAD: Denying reports of differences with Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, the newly-appointed Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president D. Srinivas has said both were like “two bullocks which will take the cart (Congress) on the path to victory in the 2009 elections.”

“There should be no doubt in the minds of leaders and cadres about the differences, as is being made out in certain quarters,” he told a convention of the Ranga Reddy district Congress party workers at Gandhi Bhavan on Friday.

Unity mantra

Stating that he would take everyone into confidence, including the seniors, the PCC chief said he was for complete unity in the party.

He admitted that the party could not afford to neglect committed party workers.

“While recognising the services of cadres, it is impossible for the party to go ahead without their support,” he said. It was not good to ignore their services to the party, Mr. Srinivas cautioned.
