NorthgateArinso (NGA), an UK-based human resources outsourcing and consulting services provider, has announced plans for expanding its Indian workforce by 25 per cent in the current financial year.
At present, the company has more than 8,500 employees globally, including 375 in its Hyderabad centre, working on delivery of HR consulting, HR outsourcing and HR technology. NorthgateArinso has two global delivery centres - Hyderabad and Kochi - employing about 1,300.
NGA vice-president (global operations) Monica Luzon said Indian operations were strategic to the company in addressing the growing global demand and it has plans to work with universities and colleges in tier-II and III cities to attract talent.
Ms. Luzon was here to announce the appointment of Raghuram Janapareddy as the head of Hyderabad operations as part of the plans to strengthen the leadership and delivery excellence.
NGA was able to capitalise huge talent pool in the country to address the increasing demand for skilled workforce and the graduate trainee programme initiated by the company yielded good results in the recent past.
