The South Central Railway will introduce a tri-weekly air-conditioned superfast express train between Kakinada Town and Secunderabad from Sunday.

Union Minister for Human Resource Development M.M. Pallam Raju will flag off the new train announced in the Railway Budget at Kakinada on Sunday.The train will have 16 coaches, including one first AC, three second AC, 10 third AC, and two generator-cum-brake van coaches.

Train No.12775 will depart from Kakinada at 8.10 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday, and arrives at Secunderabad at 6.55 a.m. the next day. The train will arrive at Vijayawada at 1 a.m. and halt for 15 minutes. In the return direction, Train No.12776 will department Secunderabad at 8.45 p.m. on Wednesday, Friday, and Monday from December 10 and arrive at Kakinada Town at 7.15 a.m. the next day. The train will arrive at Vijayawada at 1.50 a.m. and halt for 15 minutes.

The train will halt at Rajahmundry, Tanuku, Bhimavaram, Akiveedu, Kaikalur, Gudivada, Vijayawada, Khammam, and Warangal in both the directions.
