NIZAMABAD: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) will add new equipment in all its exchanges in the telecom district to add 2,040 new ports and provide broadband Internet access. Giving details at a press conference here on Thursday, BSNL General Manager A. Ganapathi Rao said broadband will become available in Kamareddy town and its rural exchange and Bodhan, Armoor and Morthad. Besides, another 1,180 ports (lines) will be released in addition to the existing 590 in the town, he said. Similarly, the Wireless in Local Loop (WLL) will be enhanced with installation of base stations with a capacity of 250 lines to 1,500 lines at all mandal headquarter towns.

The General Manager said BSNL was introducing some attractive packages for prepaid mobile users. The schemes will close on October 8 and be valid for 90 days since then.
