HYDERABAD: Retired DGP of Karnataka Srikumar on Thursday underscored the need for improving internal security in the wake of series of bomb blasts in the country over last few years.
Speaking at a seminar on ‘Internal Security’ organised by the CII here, he said proactive measures should be taken to counter terror attacks. “Whether it is Rajiv Gandhi’s assassination, attack on Parliament or bomb blasts in Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad and other cities. He found fault with both the Central and State governments for delay in introducing police reforms.
